Adding more photos can enhance your posters and be more profitable, more photos add more value to your prints on average add $10 per photo added.  

We call this posters style The Two Three poster although you can add more photos if you like

Basic instructions for creating these looks from our Templates Unlimited can be done in Photoshop and Elements -- IMPORTANT NOTE: be creative and offer what looks best, this IS NOT an exact science!  Download the PSD sample files for layer styles and better details for how to create.  

• Open template and photos to use

• In template layers hide or delete layers

  • Color Border

  • Border

  • PlacePicHere

• Crop photos to size -- we used the 12" x 18" poster template to create these (can be done with other size templates) -- Cropped sizes are just a guideline work with what looks best.  Can be vertical or horizontal.  For the 2 photo ones we cropped to 6" x 9" 300 DPI and for the 3 photo ones we cropped to 5" x 7" 300 DPI.

• Color correct photos and then drag into template just above the Background Color layer and arrange to what you like

• Select 1 photo (CTRL + Click on the photo layer -- most likely named Layer 1) NOTE: If using CS3 do the CTRL + Click on the photo's layer thumbnail

• Feather from 150 to 250 px, inverse and delete twice -- deselect

  • Repeat for other photos

• Rotate each photo usually about 2% to 8% and alternate direction of rotation and rotate to different percentages

• Save As

• Edit text and fit to best look

• Edit layer styles

• Save and then Save As JPEG or TIFF to print
